Over the years, I have been asked countless times, “what is the average cost of a facelift?” The truth is, there is no specific answer to this question. It’s because every face is different. And every facelift has to be tailored to the individual and their goals. This will effect the amount of time in surgery and the techniques used. Another factor that can affect the the average cost of a facelift is where it is being performed. Surgical fees in some areas of the country are much more than other areas. And some surgeons charge higher surgical fees than others. And there are quite a few different types of facelifts; cutaneous, mini, full, deep plane, and cheek lift just to name a few.

Another factor that can affect the cost of a facelift is having additional procedures added to the facelift. For example, patients often add procedures such as brow lift and or eyelid surgery to their facelift procedure because surgeons sometimes reduce fees if procedures are being performed at the same time.

My advice to those who are interested in a facelift is to make sure you are comparing apples to apples. Different surgeons will often recommend different techniques. And some plastic surgeons do not include anesthesia and operating room fees which make up a substantial portion of the cost of a facelift.

If you are interested in possibly having a facelift, schedule a consultation so that we can discuss your goals and the options that are available for achieving them. This will allow us to provide you with a total cost for a facelift tailored to you and your goals.
