After our patients receive microdermabrasion, they usually wonder how long does microdermabrasion last? Really, it can vary, from patient to patient. Some of our patients have had to come back to our med spa for a microdermabrasion treatment within six weeks and some of our patients go months before their next treatment.

Patients that choose to have microdermabrasion treatments are usually seeking to reduce wrinkles, scarring, acne and other skin flaws or conditions. Usually, our patients who have more scarring or more severe skin conditions than normal tend to have microdermabrasion treatments every few weeks. Deeper treatment methods may be required for severe skin conditions and those patients will likely want to come in for a series of treatments to fully address their skin condition and nurse it back to its once smooth, soft and radiant condition.
