So, you wonder how long can you keep the same implants in after you’ve gotten a breast augmentation surgical procedure? I always tell my patients as long as you are happy with them and there are no signs of a ruptures you do not need to change implants.  As time goes on, with most breast implants, there will probably be a higher rate of rupture.  There has been a study showing that a lot of women have surgery on their breasts within ten years however this was for multiple reasons including change the size or type of breast implant, lifting the breast or replacing the implant for a rupture.
