Below are answers to some of the most common questions we are asked by patients who are interested in plastic and cosmetic surgery here at First Coast Plastic Surgery.

Your initial consultation fee is $75.00 and is due at the time of your initial consultation. However, if you elect to proceed with any plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedures, the fee for your initial consultation is credited in full and your procedure fee is reduced by $75.00.

A number of things. Dr. Csikai will talk with you about your health history, what type of surgery you are interested in and why, and also answer any questions of concerns you may have about the procedure and the results you should expect. Pre-op photos are also usually taken and then you will meet with our surgical coordinator to discuss preparing for your surgery, the fees associated to your procedure and payment options. If you are comfortable with proceeding, your surgery date will be scheduled.

Recovery times vary depending on the procedure you choose. However, most patients will need to have sutures intact for 5 – 7 days after their procedure. And we recommend that you not return to work or take part in any strenuous activity prior to your sutures being removed.

Yes! Dr. Csikai is a board certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Csikai’s certification can be viewed online via the American Board of Plastic Surgeons website.

Important follow-up appointments vary based on your procedure and you. Most patients have sutures intact for 5-7 days and Dr. Csikai will want to check your recovery progress and sutures during that period, and when it is time to remove your sutures. Dr. Csikai will actively follow your recovery for three months after your procedure. Please also note that the fees for all follow-up appointments with Dr. Csikai during this time and for a full year after your procedure are included in your surgical fee.

There are a variety of fees or costs associated to a plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery procedure that can vary greatly. Your surgery coordinator will provide the exact costs of your procedure before your surgery is scheduled. Dr. Csikai insists that all surgical fees, operating room fees and anesthesia fees be included and presented as one total fee, so there are no surprises. Some procedures call for or require products and services that are not provided or performed by First Coast Plastic Surgery. Third party lab work and blood work, compression garments and sports bras are some examples of costs that are not included with your surgical fees. But again, you will be advised of any and all costs associated to your procedure before your surgery is scheduled.

The cost of breast augmentation include Dr. Csikai’s surgical fee, operating rooms fee and anesthesia fee. The total fee varies with the type of implants you select. Below is the total cost for breast augmentation with each respective type of implant:

  • Saline Breast Implants – $4,900
  • Silicone Breast Implants – $5,900
  • Gummy Bear Breast Implants – $6,900

As with our other procedure fees, all follow-up office appointments during your initial recovery and for a full year after your procedure are included with your surgical fee.

Power Assisted Liposuction, (PAL) is one of the newest and most delicate technologies used to break up and remove unwanted fat. Learn more about liposuction here. The fees for liposuction, (for patients with a body mass index , (BMI) of 40 or less) is $3,500 for the first area. This includes Dr. Csikai’s surgical fee, operating room fee and anesthesia fee. Any additional area below can be added for $1,400 each. The fees for liposuction for the Head, Neck and Face is $2,700.

As with our other procedure fees, all follow-up office appointments during your initial recovery and for a full year after your procedure are included with your surgical fee.

A tummy tuck procedure, (Abdominoplasty) is defined as removing excess body fat and skin and tightening the abdominal muscles. The fees for this procedure include Dr. Csikai’s surgical fee, operating room fee, and anesthesia fee. As an added bonus, Dr. Csikai’s fees for tummy tuck also include liposuction of the flanks or love handles for added contouring of your new appearance at no additional cost, (a $1,150 value). The total fee for Tummy Tuck, (abdominoplasty) with liposuction of the flanks, (for those with a BMI of 40 or less) is $8,200. You may also want to discuss the possibility of achieving your goals with an “Abdominoplast-Mini” which is $6,000.

As with our other procedure fees, all follow-up office appointments during your initial recovery and for a full year after your procedure are included with your surgical fee.

You initial consultation can generally be scheduled within 3-7 days, and surgery can usually be scheduled within 2-4 weeks. These times are effected by the time required for any needed lab work or tests to certify that you are medically approved for surgery, and by the time of the year. After the holiday season, spring and summer tend to be the preferred times of the year for plastic surgery procedures while fall and the holiday season allow for shorter wait times before surgery.
