When I am speaking with patients who are interested in a facelift, some patients are good candidates for a mini-facelift, and on many occasions, they ask, “does a mini-facelift include the neck”. A mini-facelift does not include tightening of the neck. In general a mini-facelift addresses only the mid to lower face.

A mini-facelift is very effective in correcting deeper nasolabial folds along with some drooping of the jowls.  Also, a mini-facelift can help improve the cheek area of the face. To improve the neck, a full facelift, (rhytidectomy) or just a neck lift by itself would be needed.
